Abstracts in photography like abstracts in art inspire our imagination. While an artist will paint shapes and lines and find a story to tell through an abstract, a photographer must find abstracts in the world around them. Aging buildings, water reflections, and bouncing light create beautiful patterns that catch my eye and I compose my own abstracts from the world around me. When choosing an abstract, think of it as you would an abstract painting. Acrylic, Metal, and Canvas are excellent choice of media as is a framed (but not matted) print.
If you are unsure what size or media you want--canvas, print, framed print, metal, or acrylic, make a choice and click on the wall preview. If your walls are painted, be sure to change the color of the wall as a photo will look different with a different background (wall). Use the dropdown to choose the room where you want to put the photo.
